Exceptional Tea. Uncompromising Quality.
Tea Rituals

Pour slowly. Savour deeply.

A little care.
A better cup.

A good ritual does not need to be complicated. Begin with the right amount of tea, water at the recommended temperature and enough attention to notice when the cup is ready.

The three things to notice

Quantity gives your preparation a starting point. Water temperature influences how the tea infuses. Time lets you adjust its strength. Follow the guidance on your pack, then make small changes to find your preference.

Quantity

Measure thoughtfully

Start with the amount on your pack. A small scale makes your next cup easier to repeat.

Water

Find the right warmth

Match the water temperature to your tea, giving its character room to develop.

Time

Give it your attention

Time the infusion, taste, then strain. Adjust a little at a time to find your preference.

Give loose leaves room

Use an infuser with enough space for the tea to move in the water. Strain when the cup reaches your preferred strength, rather than leaving the leaves in as you drink.

A different preparation for Matcha

Matcha is whisked, not strained after steeping. Sifting helps break up small clumps before water is added. Visit our guide for a simple bowl and an iced latte variation.

Make Matcha
A ritual of your own

Make the next cup yours

If the first cup feels too strong, shorten the next infusion or use a little less tea. If it feels too light, adjust gradually. Keep the change small so you can understand what made the difference.
